I e-filed my 2023 Federal return using TurboTax Deluxe Online and it was accepted by the IRS 2 days ago.
I am attempting to submit my 2023 Mississippi state return using TurboTax Premier Desktop and it continues to be rejected with the reason being: A Federal return that matches this state return could not be found. The IRS requires that all linked state returns be filed after or in conjunction with the Federal return. Please verify that your Federal return has been e-filed and has not been rejected by IRS.
Why am I getting this error when my Federal return has been e-filed and accepted by the IRS?
