You can call TurboTax and speak with an agent.  TurboTax customer service/support does not have a single phone number but has many different phone numbers based on the type of platform used.  So that we can direct your call to the best person/department to help you:

  1. Click on this link:  https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
  2. Select your TurboTax platform.
  3. Ask your question / state your problem.  Do NOT use the word "refund' or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. On the next screen, choose the Call option and follow the instructions.  You will be given the approximate wait time.

You'll get a toll-free number to a TurboTax expert who is specially-trained to handle your particular issue.

I was having the same issue when doing the E file on paying $25 for State return. Called the Helpline and told the possible

problem could be my billing zip code. After adding the additional 4 digit to the zip code, still rejected my credit card.

The agent then told me I might have problem with my credit

card, I tried another 2 cards and same problem.

Finally I used my wife’s credit card and went through.

You might want to use another family members’ credit card

to temporarily resolve the issue for the time being to get your

tax filing going. Certainly not get stuck in the middle of process, like the last step on E filing.

dont waste your time   i have talked to 4 representatives over 4 1/2 hours only one was competent and she  couldn't fix the problem -which she told me was common!  I had to do my entire Federal and state over again and still the site will not accept credit card payment

If you still experience the issue, please call Customer Service and tell them you have a "block payment issues, possibly due to billing or an invalid license" and the agent should be able to help you. Here is how you reach customer service:  Turbo Tax Customer Service
