TurboTax not recognizing my 2018 information for worksheets

Was curious why TurboTax is not pulling in information from my 2018 return for various worksheets for 2019 (Federal Carryover, etc).  The only thing I can think of is that I completed that return using the Desktop version of the application, while this year I purchased the online version.  Thank you.

Yes, you need to transfer your tax file in order to pull your information.

Here's  how you can transfer:

  1. Sign in to your account..
  2. After the screen has loaded, select the Tax Tools drop-down menu in the left menu and then select Tools.
  3. In the pop-up window, select the Transfer last year's TurboTax return from your computer link. (If you don’t see this option, you may need to clear and start over.

If you transfer from:

  • a PDF—It will transfer your personal info and your AGI .
  • a .tax file—It will transfer all of your info in a few short steps.

I have already paid for TurboTax, so it will not let me clear and start over.  Is there any work around so I can get my 2018 return uploaded?
