TurboTax Live of TurboTax Full Service

I have used TurboTax software for years...  2021 was more complex and I would like some professional help for specific questions (1031 exchange, reporting an Opportunity Zone deferral of capital gains, etc. )... It appears TurboTax offers TT Live and TT Full Service... I am confused... As usual. I purchased TT Premier via download for my 2021 taxes... can I upgrade to TT Live? ... It appears that with TT Live I will complete my return with help for specific questions so, when finished, I will have on my computer a TT data file to print and file my tax return and have historical data (general data, depreciation, carry forwards, etc.) for next year... correct?... it also appears that TT Full Service will prepare my full return after I scan and upload 1099s, K-1s, etc., but does not use TT so I do not get a TT data file to print my return (I prefer paper filing because of attachments) and for next year... correct?  Is there a support product in between?... for example, I download into TT all basic 1099 info, etc. and then turn the file over to a TT CPA (the TT file) who finishes the return (or almost finishes the return) and returns the TT data file to me to put finishing touches on the return, print it, add attachments and file... I will have my TT data file for next year... the TT CPA will "assist" but not actually prepare the final return... the local CPAs do not use TT and want to type in everything from scratch... any help appreciated... Thank you!

I may be able to help a little, but perhaps not completely.

As I understand it, TurboTax Live and full service requires using TurboTax Online instead of the desktop version.  (Desktop data is on your PC and not online or available for viewing by the Turbotax experts.)

The following link explains how to switch.  It also states "You can't transfer your current year return."

I guess you need to decide whether to use TurboTax Live or a local tax expert.

Perhaps a more knowledgeable person will rsvp with additional info.
