TurboTax is including a Schedule C, but I have no self-employment income. The form only has EIN, which has my Mortgage bank info (no idea why?)

I keep having my e-filing failing with error SC-F1040-002-02. Turbo Tax directed me to delete the form directly from Tax Tools, but Schedule C doesn't show up there...

Do you have any income that might be requiring you to generate a Schedule C on your return? This would include Forms 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC. If so, this may be why you are unable to delete the form.

Mortgage interest is reported on a 1098. Be sure you have entered that information in the Deductions & Credits section of TurboTax.

If you continue to have trouble, feel free to reach out to TurboTax Support.

No, I don't have any of those. I talked to support and they directed me to delete form 1040, but that didn't work (I deleted the form but it remained there).

They also directed me to clear and start over, but that doesn't work with a failure "You have already e-filed.".
