Turbotax Desktop Closes Unexpectedly when Printing Final Forms Required for Filing

In the Turbotax Deluxe desktop software, after e-filing federal and state, under the File, Save for Your Records tabs, there is a prompt that says, "Even though you e-filed, don't skip this paperwork. These are items required by the government to complete your returns."

When I click on the, "Print Required Forms," button, the software closes unexpectedly. Is there another way to access the forms that I need to file with the state? Additionally, the New Mexico, form TRD-41406, New Solar Market Development Tax Credit Claim Form, which I uploaded along with the letter from the state is not in the set of documents when I reviewed the PDF copy of the forms that Turbotax filed.

Is there any other way to access the forms I need to print or to prevent the software from exiting? Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Please try to manually update the software by following the instructions here, as this can resolve the issue.

Please let us know if this does not work. @LG468

@CarissaM The directions provided were for manually updating for a Windows machine, but I did find these directions, How to manually update for Mac, and that did not resolve the issue. I also ensured my operating system was updated to the latest version, Big Sur, Version 11.7.5, and that did not resolve the issue either.

Is there something else I should try?
