There is a bug with TurboTax Deluxe 2021 for Mac. On the Self Employed Sick Leave info screen the edit button is blank

The information entered cannot be edited now as the button that should be to edit it doesn't work.

@4H8qpeb1  Although there is not yet a published resolution on this issue, it has been confirmed and our programmers are working on it.  If you click on the following link [Link no longer valid, issue has been resolved], you will be able to provide your email address to receive an update on the expected resolution.

We have reported this issue, and it is being investigated. Could you possibly include a screenshot of the Self Employment screen and provide any additional details that you believe can help troubleshoot this issue? If including a screenshot, please black out any of your personal information.

Here are some screen shots. You can see how in the original default window size on the Mac the button is partially cut off. It is not clickable. Even when readjusting the window size the button is still non-functioning.

Thank you @4H8qpeb1. I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the  directions below:

 

  1. Open your return.
  2. Click the Online tab in the black bar across the top of TurboTax and select “Send Tax File to Agent
  3. This will generate a message that a diagnostic copy will be created.  Click on OK and the tax file will be sanitized and transmitted to us.
  4. Please provide the Token Number that was generated in the response.

@DanielV01 @BrandiLO1 do you have any updates about this? I'd like to even just delete what I had entered so for for the Self-employed sick leave credit, but with the software bug that I cannot edit what I entered I also cannot delete anything. Do you have any suggestions of how I could delete it & start that section again without having to redo the entire tax return file with all the other information I've entered? Thanks!
