the software freezes when I try to manually input my 1099-r information. When can this be corrected.

can I talk to your software techie to resolve this

First, please restart your computer.  Then, please clear your cache and cookies.

If that does not help please try a different internet browser.  And then, if that does not help, you may need to try to use a different computer.

 

If none of that works then here is where to contact TurboTax support.
