State EFile was rejected due to 500 transaction limit. I'm still being charged 24.99. TurboTax should show return is not eligible for EFile before charging me not after.

This is related to AL state return EFile.  Turbo Tax takes my payment information and charges my card then gives me the "not eligible" message.  The message should be available before making the decision to EFile.

This happened to me also, with MN efile and a different reason for rejecting.  Can I get a refund for this?

We cannot issue refunds through this forum. The preparation of the state return is included in the fee. There may be a reason that the return was rejected. You may be able to fix the return and efile. Or, you have the option of filing a paper return. Should you continue to need assistance, you may contact TurboTax Support.

I was charged to efile then it was rejected saying my AGI wasn't correct, but it was correct in fact TurboTax pulled the AGI for me and I even double checked it. Now I am mailing it in only I did not get a refund for being charged to e-file. I want a refund or this will be my last year filing with turbo tax. It seems every year Turbo Tax finds a way to rip you off.

Same thing happened to me last night. I never efile state and decided to last night. The program knows it is already ineligible because I am getting a refund as a personal rep for my mother's estate.  TurboTax is going to get hit with a class action some day. I need a refund. You ripped me off. I guess that Intuit is banking on the fact that my credit card company will eat the $25 to appease me rather than bother to go after Intuit.

I can't e-file. Will I be refunded if I don't, or can I get an e-file on my personal return?

Yes, you can get a refund if you don't Efile.  Contact TurboTax Support and use 'Billing' in the phone options.

Thank you. I will try to do that. It actually should drop off it isn't used.

It shouldn't happen in the first place. The program already has the information.
