Smart Check does not like my 7-digit Minnesota State Payer ID number from my W-2. The number is correct. Can I skip this Smart Check?
The MN Payer ID number needs to be 7 digits. I put in 7 digits, and retyped it. IT won't take the 7 digits. Can I skip Smart Check and be OK?

You can try to file without correcting it. If it does not allow you to, you would need to reach out to TurboTax customer support for more assistance.

turbo tax wants MN taken out of payers 7 digit state id number, but when i do, it ask for it back and wont let me file.

Can you clarify when entering the W-2 do you have MN listed in box 15 under state? Box 15 should have the state and then numerical digits listed separate. when I run a test in TurboTax this way I do not get a stop in Smart Check even with the number being 7 digits. See screenshot below:
