Of course you should.   All of your income was supposed to be entered when you prepared your federal return.  All of the boxes of your W-2's were supposed to be entered.  Boxes 15 - 20 are for your state and local income and tax withheld.   You enter that in federal and it flows to the state return.

If you have any other income---it all gets entered into the federal program.  The software will follow your state's tax laws and use the state income that goes on your state return.

@xmasbaby0 that's what I thought but it transferred the federal wages to my state return and I'm not seeing how I can change it?

Yes----your state taxes you on the amount  from box 1 of your W-2.   That is not incorrect.  You do not need to change it.   Let the software do its job.    If you entered your W-2(s) correctly the software will put the amounts needed on your state return.

Is there some sort of confusion----did you live in one state and work in another?  Have income from more than one state?
