Schwab 1099 is up, Turbotax uploaded it, but the data is completely wrong

I think Turbotax should not do the upload if it is completely wrong. This causes confusion. A short term loss when it should be a 5 figure gain. Can you please figure out why the upload of a 1099 done today from Schwab was completely wrong despite it being posted on their website today for the 1st time? Maybe put a message flagging that the upload can't be completed until a specific date? Thanks.

You can enter your Form(s) 1099 manually into TurboTax. If you would like to do this, you can follow the instructions below on how to manually enter Form(s) 1099.

This instruction is for a Form 1099-INT, but the method is the same ‌for 1099-DIV and 1099-B.

You can enter your Form 1099-INT information using the steps below:

  1. Open your return
  2. In the search Bar enter Form 1099-INT
  3. Select "Jump to 1099-INT"
  4. It will ask, "Did you have investment income in 2024?" Select "Yes"
  5. Select "Continue"
  6. Select "Skip Import"
  7. You will Select your investment type which is "Interest"
  8. You will "Continue"
  9. Then you will see the screen "Let's get the info from your 1099-INT"
  10. You will type in the information from your Form 1099-INT on that page

Your screens will look something like this:

Search for your 1099-type by clicking on search and typing your Form number in the search bar.

Answer "Yes" to Did you have investment income in 2024?"

Click on the box that represents your investment type:

I probably should just switch to paper filing. Fill out the forms manually. Not pay TT a dime. I bet it would be faster.
