Need to "edit" and update pw in account because I forgot the pw. It won't let me "edit" and do a new pw unless I put in the old forgotten one.

If I knew the old forgotten pw, obviously I would not have to reset.

Please follow the steps in the TurboTax FAQ for assistance with a forgotten password:

The question was once you are in your account, you cannot reset your pw unless you remember your old pw.  That defeats the purpose of resetting a pw.  I wouldn't need to reset if I remembered the old one.  So every time I go into TurboTax I have to request a code to access my account, instead of simply resetting my pw?  The answer did not address the question.
