I submitted return under Married with Jointly but it got rejected because my spouse has submitted it under Married with separately. I want to know the process to submit under Married with Jointly category.

You cannot cancel a return that has been accepted.  You need to wait until your spouse's return has been fully processed, and then your spouse's return must be amended to a joint return that includes all of your information as well as your spouse's info, which is already on the return.

A 1040X cannot be e-filed.  It must be printed and mailed.  It will take about 3-4 months for the IRS to process an amended return.  It is a good idea to use a mailing service that will track it, like UPS or certified mail, so you will know it was received.

Wait about 3 weeks from mailing and you can check the status of your amended return:

Thanks xmasbaby0 for your response. Deluxe package is required for filing Married with Jointly, I have take a Deluxe package on Turbo Tax, but my wife account doesn't. Is there a way i can use my subscription to submit amended. I don't want to waste my subscription.

No--you have to amend the return your spouse filed if her return was already accepted.  You did not file, so the amended return cannot be prepared using your account.  You should try to work out a refund with customer support if you can.
This is the public user forum.  No one here can access your account or authorize any sort of refund for you.  You can make your request with Customer Support.  Use the word ”billing” instead of the word “refund.”

They are available from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time.
