My returns were rejected because the Employer EIN number was wrong. One was right and one was wrong. The TurboTax program wouldn't allow me to enter it as it was on W2?

Plus they charged me twice for my state return after saying there was an error in submitting my payment.

Yes, if your return was rejected, you can make corrections and send it again.

Here's how to do that:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Fix my return.
  3. On the Let's fix your return and then refile screen, select Fix it now or Revisit.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to edit your information.
  5. If the program doesn't take to the spot to correct your W-2, select Wages & Income on the left.
  6. Select  Edit/ Add, to the right of Job (W-2).
  7. Select the Edit below the W-2.
  8. You can correct the EIN on the screen OK, let's update the info we have for you and your employer. If you need to correct the state tax ID number too, it's on the next screen.
  9. When you're finished, select Continue to File and continue until you e-file your return.

Here is the  link to request a refund

https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-refunds/request-refund-turbotax-product/L834M6uyW_US_en_US,

you would fill it out accordingly and they should give you a response within 24 hours. Please note that the response is via email and that email will have a 'case number'. Do not get rid of that email as you can track the request with it and/or the case number can br given to product support to investigate if need be. Also, be detailed in the box and specifically say you were charged double for a state but you only bought one
