My phone number has changed how can i change it to get text from you

Hello and good day. I'm trying to log into my account and your asking to send me a text to complete the log in process, however my number has changed. So i can't log in to change the number, what am i supposed to do?

How do I update my TurboTax account information?

I can't get in to my account because it's trying to send a code to my old phone number. I know my login and password but it wants a code from from old number before it will let me log in.

@litlemanstormy You can use this link here to recover your account. There is a small blue link at the bottom that says Try something else and if you click on that you can locate your account by using your SSN, name, and birthdate. If you still can't access your account, you can contact TurboTax Support for assistance by following this link here.

You should see Tax Home on the left side of your screen.  This is the area that you're looking for.  If you don't see it click on the 3 white lines.

1. Sign in to TurboTax and
2. select Intuit Account on the left, just above Sign Out (you may need to scroll down;
3. select the 3 white lines or Tax Home if you still don't see the menu).
4. Select Sign in & Security to update information like your user ID, password, phone number, or email.
5. Or select Personal Info to update information like your name, address, or job.

My current phone number is [phone number removed].  I want that updated.  I want my password updated.  Everything else can remain the same.  I would rather talk to a person than a computer but I will continue trying as the taxes must be filed.

For security reasons, TurboTax representatives cannot update your account information. You have to do that yourself, online.

To update your TurboTax (non-Advantage) account email, phone number, mailing address, or password:

1. Sign in to TurboTax and select Intuit Account on the left, just above Sign Out (you may need to scroll down; select the 3 white lines or Tax Home if you still don't see this).
2. Select Sign in & Security to update information like your user ID, password, phone number, or email. Or select Personal Info to update information like your name, address, or job.
