My itemized deduction is almost 5000$ higher than my standardized deduction but turbo tax recommends the standard. Their is no difference in refund amount as well.

I have a large solar energy credit that will be carrying forward

If there is no difference in your refund amount when claiming the standard deduction or claiming itemized deductions, then TurboTax is recommending the standard deduction so that you will be filing a less complicated tax return.  If you do not need the additional deductions to maximize your refund then there is no need to file the extra Schedule A with your return.

One thing to consider though, the recommendation from TurboTax to use the standard deduction does not take your state return into account.  So, you might want to double-check whether your state refund/balance due changes when you switch from the standard deduction to itemized and vice versa.

Take a look at the following TurboTax help article for instructions to change between the standard deduction and itemized deductions to see how your returns might change:

How do I change from the standard deduction to itemized (or vice-versa)?
