My forms were e-filed. Why didn't I have a spot to include my Health Care information?

Under the current tax law in 2019 you are not required to enter your Health Insurance Information unless you purchased your insurance through the Marketplace and received a Form 1095-A.

If you did purchase your insurance through the Marketplace and did not enter the information from the 1095-A you will need to amend your return.

If you are getting a refund you need to wait until you have received the funds.  You will need to follow the steps on How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return?

When I e-filed, the form didn't allow me to enter my health insurance information. I clicked through the entire form when filing and there wasn't a place to enter the insurance. I went through it several times since I've had to enter this in past years. Now I got a letter from the IRS stating they didn't receive my health insurance information and need  to complete form 8269. Turbo Tax failed!

The entry is in the "Deductions and Credits" section under "Medical" and then "Afforadable Care Act (Form 1095-A)."
