Maine Student loan repayment tax credit

Turbotax is showing that Maine student loan repayment tax credit worksheet is available to e-file but anytime I get to that part it will not give the option for it. It lets me chose degree and number of eligible payments made but will not add the $2,500 credit

If your income is below the minimum allowed, you will not be able to file the credit. The 2023 income is listed as $12,917. There is also a $25,000 maximum lifetime allowance. See SLRTC FAQs. to be sure you qualify.

I do qualify for it, I make over the minimum income and this is only my 6th year getting it well under the $25,000 limit

If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program, clear your Cache and Cookies and return to the Student Loan Credit section of your Maine State Return.

Since we can't see your return in this forum, you could use the Worksheet provided by Maine Revenue Services to compare to the result showing in TurboTax.

If you believe TurboTax to be in error, please post here again with details and we'll try to help.
