Lots of hoops to jump through to simply ask a question. I have presales questions and have never used tax software

Can someone please explain how TurboTax keeps my information secure and what info can you see? Why shout I be trusting TurboTax over my CPA? I'm considering a move to TT and need to know.

Second, I'll assume I can input a hypothetical to estimate my 2025 taxes? There may be a few scenarios i'd like to see ahead of time. I have not prepared my own taxes in many years, and this would be my first time using software.

Lastly, why in the heck isn't there a sales support number? It's impossible to get anyone on a call. My questions aren't about taxes but about your services and i have to create an account here and post a message?! This is beyond ridiculous.

Here are some answers to the questions you posed in your posts:

Data Security: See How does Intuit protect my data?

Estimated Taxes for 2025: TurboTax will calculate estimated taxes for 2025 and prepare Forms 1040-ES if needed. See this help article for more information.

Questions about products:  See this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you have questions about.

Versions: If you prefer to download rather than use the online-only products, see here.

If your family trust needs to prepare a return Form 1041 for 2024, you would need TurboTax Business in addition to a personal TurboTax product.
