after 6 attempts and 4.5 hours waiting - I closed Turbotax and quit for the day.
I have been 'clicking' the "connect with an expert" button repeatedly. I get the "will call in 5 minutes" message only to wait another hour. I realize this is a busy time, but perhaps a message that I am still in the cue or other.

I tried one more time.
I received an email that an agent sent me a message.
instructed to log in to turbotax to get the message.
WHERE? are the messages?
There is no link to a mailbox.
the help window does not help find it either.
trying something different this week. I click on the, "connect with an expert" - wait for the appointed time for call back to be shown and then wait for one hour past that. Then I close everything and try the next day. Currently sitting and waiting for the third try to call back.
Not sure what is wrong - this worked last year without fail.
fyi - turbotax deluxe desktop version for mac - not online
Here is the nice blue button that tells me when the call back that never happens is to occur.
Another failed attempt to "contact an agent" today. So Tried the 800 number - no contact there either!
Is there a way to find how long the wait is to get help? I have been trying to make contact for 9 days.
Even if all I get is an appointment for a phone call would something.

Turbotax was very positive about offering Live Tax Advice for $60. I clicked the button to buy. They cheerfully took my credit card number and immediately bill my card. I was delighted to see the button change to "Connect with an Expert". I have been clicking that button for an hour and get nothing but a totally blank screen. Have I been scammed by Turbotax?
