It depends. If the information on Schedule K-3 would change the return you filed last year, you would need to amend and file the return by mail. But if the K-3 information doesn't apply to you, there's no need to amend.

 

To amend a prior-year return, you'll need to purchase and download that year's TurboTax software for PC or Mac, as TurboTax Online and the mobile app are only available for the current tax year. 

 

If you purchased the software last year and it is still installed on your personal computer, you can use that installation by updating to the current release (which is done at no charge when you open the software).
