Is there a way to go back and choose to e-file? I am not given that option, but it says I can do that on the PDF

If you have not mailed in your return, you can change to e-file your return.

Yes, as long as you didn't mail in your return, you still can change the filing method.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents." and click Show.
  3. Under 2019, look for a link "Add a State" and click. (that doesn't really add one; that's just to open the return back up.)
  4. Once the return is open, select File from the left menu.
  5. In step 3, change the filling method to e-file your return.
