Is there a way to clear all the w-2 info I’ve already entered in? I used the wrong one and want to just start fresh so I can keep track of where I’m at. Thanks.

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Wages & Income

On the W-2 shown, click on Edit/Add

Click on the Trash Can symbol to delete the W-2

Or you can clear your whole return and start over.

To delete your W-2 follow the steps below:

 

1. Login to TurboTax
2. Select Wages and Income
3. Select Edit/Add by Job (W-2)
4. Select Delete.

Another option is to clear your entire tax return and start over if you haven't paid.  If using TurboTax Online:

1. Login to TurboTax and select Continue
2. Select Tax Tools 
3. Select Clear & Start Over.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, start a new return by selecting File and New Return.
