Once you have your software you can download your *.tax2017 data file from your online account to amend it. An amended return cannot be efiled. It has to be printed, signed, dated and mailed. It can take the IRS up to 16 weeks to process.
It's a good idea to mail by a method that has tracking, such as certified return receipt or priority mail, etc.
After 3 weeks from mailing, you should be able to start tracking it here:

Thank you so much for the quick response. Yes, I did do my 2017 tax return online with Turbotax. I was not aware I could amend my 2017 taxes online since it was after the calendar October month. I have already requested my MAC version software from the link you sent to me.
You cannot amend your taxes online after mid October. The amend software you requested must be downloaded to your computer. You must prepare, print and mail the amended return form 1040X.
You use your online account to download the xxxx.tax2017 data file to your computer and then use the amended software installed on your computer read that data file and to amend. Be sure to make a copy the the .tax data file so you have the original data and work from the copy.
