Is 1099-DIV and 1099-INT included in turbo tax free version?

A few weeks ago, I did my turbo tax return but I forgot to include my stock account that included small amounts of interest and dividends made. However, the account includes a capital loss (under 1000$) that I was hoping to include in my 2023 tax return. Is there any way to amend my return and include this with the turbo tax free edition. If not is there another website that I could use. Even the cheapest paid version of turbo tax would make doing this not worth the cost.

If the capital loss was reported on Form 1099-B, you would need to upgrade from the free edition of TurboTax in order to amend your return. Otherwise, as long as you don't add anything other than the list below, you can amend your return at no additional charge.

Situations covered in TurboTax Free (assuming no added tax complexity):

  • W-2 income
  • Interest or dividends (1099-INT/1099-DIV) that don’t require filing a Schedule B
  • IRS standard deduction
  • Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
  • Child Tax Credit (CTC)
  • Student loan interest deduction
