I carefully followed all instructions and tried various combinations, I am 100% sure the account# and Document ID are correct, but I am still getting "Invalid Signon"... Please help!
I also Googled, it seemed there was such a problem every year in the last few years, and TurboTax asked users to call Robinhood, and Robinhood asked the users to call TurboTax.
TurboTax: please don't tell me again I should call Robinhood, I am using your product, and you have the collective power to make things happen, Robinhood, on the other side, is irresponsible on their part, and I will switch brokerage, but I need TurboTax to help solve the problem now!
Thank you for your support.
Alright folks, Good news for all!
I got resolution from TurboTax tech support.
Clear default browser's cache, then import was ok.
In my case, Chrome, Settings, Security and Privacy, (select all), Clear Cache.
TurboTax is using your default browser in the background for importing.
I don't understand why no one knew this trick before.
Anyway, Happy Wednesday!
Please clarify. Are you using the TurboTax Online version or the TurboTax CD\Download version?
Please review this resource and ensure that you have checked all suggestions for accuracy on your end. If your issue persists after the fact please reply and we will further assist.
Yes I am having the same problem....Invalid Sign on from Turbo Tax
I am using the download version of home and office from costco.com and amending my return that has been accepted by the feds and state (CA)
I have tried using Robinhood Securities and then switching the Robinhood Crypto with no luck. My account and document numbers have been triple checked and nothing.
I originally entered my info manually because I was not able to import Robinhood to TurboTax but now found I missed some info for the 1099B and need to import to make sure it is correct.
Seems like a lot of people are having problem.....
Any help out there?
Same issue.
Robinhood Crypto -> works.
Robinhood Securities -> invalid signon
I have searched and read and tried hundreds of threads online, including your latest mention https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/what-if-i-can-t-import-my-1099/00/846274
no, nothing works! Yes! I typed my account # 100% correct! Yes! I typed my Document ID 100% correct!
I also contacted Robinhood many times... here is summary:
(1) Please contact TurboTax on how to use their software
(2) No, we can't supply csv file, pdf is the only one available
I also have a ticket with TurboTax, Case number[phone number removed], no updates for some days. I hope I don't need to escalate to Sasan Goodarzi to get this done.
Same issue here, hope someone can help me.
Robinhood Crypto -> works.
Robinhood Securities -> invalid signon
Please click here for assistance and troubleshooting with importing your Robinhood information.
No that link doesn't help me, unless you want to me manually typed in hundreds of transactions.
I said that already in the morning.

I did reach out to you and have a case already, but no resolution!
Case # 149 083 333 4 (without space)
I don't know what else I can do, please advise... yesterday I called TurboTax for updates on my case, the answer was "just wait... no resolution yet"

It WORKED!!
Thanks iwqs200 ....you deserve 30 badges for this one LOL
Very sad someone form intuit did not post this
Thanks for providing this information! I just went through 3 weeks of frustration while talking to Turbotax & Robinhood - with no answers! Who could figure out Turbotax relies on Chrome (or other browsers) with their separately installed Premier application. I am happy to say I was finally able import my 1099s (b, DIV, & Misc) due to your advice!
Having the same issue with E*Trade on TurboTax Premiere on Mac OS. Tried logging to the various E*trade entries listed in TurboTax. Have cleared the cache in Safari, the default browser. No luck.
Try to login using Chrome, as it can sometimes make the difference. @Metlmann
