Intuit PLEASE RESPOND: TT Premier Not Populating Accrued Market Discount to Schedule B as Interest

I regret the directive tone of the Subject of this post.  This is the 3rd post I have made while debugging this issue, wth no response so far.

I believe I have isolated the root cause of the problem I have been working on for almost a week with serveral bonds that have Accrued Market Discount on the 1099-B.

After importing the 1099-B data from my brokerage, there is an entry on the less common items page of the step-by-step for the Accrued Market Discount, as shown below:

If you open the On-Demand Tax Guidance link for Accrued Market Discount, it states that TurboTax will include Accrued Market Discount as interest on Schedule B (see below).

Sadly, TurboTax Premier for Windows does not add the interest to Schedule B! Please see below for Schedule B resulting from the case shown in the first screenshot. There is no entry for $128 of interest due to Accrued Market Discount.

I understand that support for this feature might be dropped in lower tier TurboTax products. However the ptoduct intormation states that Premier and above versions provide extra help for stocks and investments.

Please fix this as soon as possible as I have been stuck debugging this for almost a week, and I would really like to finish my taxes!!

Hi  HeatherPLO,

I am working with a TaxExpert now, and have sent a diagnostic file to him for review/debugging.

Thanks for responding to my post with details on how to contact Intuit support.

Best regards, JMFord
