In the left corner of the web page it says 0 federal ?

hat sounds like your federal refund is currently $0. Your refund is calculated as you go along and answer the questions in the return.

If you hit the Amend button (like to get back into your return)  it resets the refund to 0.  You do not want to amend, unless you need to change a return that was filed and accepted.
