In previous years, TurboTax online would show a running total of refund/amount owed in the upper left. This year I do not see this, how do I enable this?

Click the < or > symbol in the upper left side of the screen.

This should appear in the middle of your screen if you are using a PC. Are you using a phone?

I made 2 screenshots from my Windows 8 computer.  Does your screen look like these?

@VolvoGirl Something strange going on with the online editions.  I have the refund meter available if i use the Free edition but if I use the Self-Employed edition the refund meter access is totally gone, no bars or < >

Yeah...there's a Stupid Racetrack on some people's page.

One person say they clicked on the "Review" at the end of the racetrack, and it went away...

Then they use the left-side menu to go back to the areas they need to enter data on..

But I don't know if there is an easier way to get of that ridiculous racetrack..

Annd..you do have to be inside your actual tax file (not just logged in) before the <   > show up if no racetrack is showing

(not sure what shows on a phone...never use a phone for preparing taxes)

I was not seeing the refund meter when I first logged into TurboTax Premier online in Google Chrome. It appeared when I tapped the State Taxes tab and has stayed there after I logged off and back in.

The refund meter showed up in Microsoft Edge when I first logged on. You may wish to try a different browser for now.

I'm logged into Turbotax on a Mac. The running total wasn't there at first, so I came here and the only post here that I could find that could apply to me was one that said to try clicking into the "state taxes" section on the left column. I clicked a couple of things over there in state taxes and my running total finally showed up (and is apparently staying).
