In my Federal review, I accidentally entered the wrong number for "wages subject to social security tax". How can I change this once entered?

Go back and reenter your W2 under FederalTaxes.

Can you do this after the IRS recieved your return?

No.

 

If your return was filed and accepted by the IRS, you will need to file an amended return to make the corrections.
