More than likely your end of year LES will not match exactly the W-2 that you will receive in January. The IRS will either reject your return or hold the return for several weeks or months to investigate since the IRS will have your actual W-2 in their systems.
The IRS will not be accepting return for 2016 until mid to late January so just wait for the W-2.
bad, bad, bad idea. You're practically guaranteed to file your taxes wrong resulting in an IRS paper audit. Besides, filing early will NOT get you your refund any quicker, since the IRS doesn't even start pulling e-filed returns (much less processing them) until after the 3rd week of January usually.

The IRS requires that you use your W-2 ... it is not an option. Using the LES increases your chances of messing up your return which will require an amendment that takes 16+ weeks to process. And read this tidbit on refund delays this tax season ...

And since you will get your W-2 before the IRS is ready you really have no reason to not comply with the rules.
