This is so annoying. All searches take you to this same link, but that will only get you the pdf download, not the .tax file. How can I download the .tax file? Please do not keep reposting the stupid links in this already that just say "we'll save a pdf and .tax file" but only actually give you the pdf.
No this isn't correct. Let me show you the screen on how to access your 2020 tax file. But first:
Select show and select the downward facing arrow
Select yr 2020
Download .tax file

Thank you Dave. That did the trick. I had seen that page but missed the links at the very bottom. I'll claim part user error but it could also be more easily accessed in other parts of the site as well. Problem solved though, thank yo.

A 2020 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
