Best advice is to go to H&R block online for their less expensive products. Turbo tax does everything it can to discourage downgrades and will make you completely clear all of your tax info and start again. You'll have to clear your current return in tax settings. Turbo tax's free product requires you to manually enter your info from last year as a way to upsell the premium product. H&R's will allow you to upload a PDF of last year's return and will enter it for you.
