I purchased the INTUIT TURBOTAX Program at SAM's. WHY is Turbotax asking me to pay for it again? I do not know where to enter the fact that I had already purchased it.

Did you use Online TurboTax by mistake; i.e., the browser version?

With the software license you purchased at Sam's you were supposed to download the software and install it on your computer, and then activate it with the software license, then use the software on your computer--not at a website.   You can't use the desktop license in an Online product.  Online TurboTax is a separate product and will charge you again if you continue.  I'll tell you how to switch below without starting over.

You get your software at the site in these instructions in the FAQ.  At that site, select the product that matches what you bought at Sam's.   Then it will ask you if you want the Windows or Mac download.

You can move the *.tax2024 data file you started in Online TurboTax and finish it in the desktop software without starting over.
