I purchased the deluxe version because it stated I would be able to file up 5 federal e-filings. I can't figure out how to start the next e-file. Does anyone know how?

Did you buy the Desktop program but accidentally get into the Online version?   I see people all the time that have bought the CD/Download Desktop Software but then somehow ending up using the Online version and didn't know it. If that happened to you, you can move your Online file to the Desktop program and continue without paying for Online or needing to reenter your info.

Sorry you can't apply the Desktop CD/Download program and License Code to the Online version. They are separate prices and work different. So you need to get a refund for the Desktop program and pay for the Online version. Or switch to your Desktop program.

You need to download and install the Desktop program.  Do you have the 16 digit License Code?  Do you need help installing the Desktop program? How to get started with the Desktop program, install and activate it

Oh, if you do have the Desktop program to start a new return go up to File  - New Tax Return

After you open the desktop version, look for a blue rectangle that says "start a new return" and click on it.

if you have a 2023 online account, you must upload the xxxx.tax2023 file to be able to transfer the data to 2024. The link for "continue from online" is if you started a 2024 return.
