I only made $200 in 2024. How can I file for free

If the total of all your taxable income in 2024 was $200, there is no need or reason to file a tax return.

What kind of income did you have?  Did you get a W2?  You probably don't have to file a return except to get back any withholding taken out like on a W2.

The free edition is not dependent upon the amount of your earnings.   It depends upon the type of income you have as well as the forms and schedules needed to report your income.   Get more information on which forms are included in TurboTax Free Edition.

 

Here is a chart that shows the federal filing requirements.  As mentioned above, if you only earned $200 in 2024, you would not have a filing requirement unless you had one of the uncommon listed in the link.
