I need to open a 2020 tax filing to amend. My 2020 version installed wont open

I need to open a 2020 tax filing to amend. I have it saved as a tax file. My 2020 version installed won't open. I don't see a way to open it from my 2021 version. I have the 2020 software on the PC and could reinstall but dont have the license or activation code. How can I open this to amend?

Only the 2020 TurboTax software can open the 2020 tax data file so you need to reinstall the 2020 software.

This part of your post is confusing.  Are you really trying to open a 2020 file using 2021 software?...or was that a mis-type.
