I need to change my email address listed in my Intuit Account, but I am unwilling to give you the password for my personal email. How do I work around this?

I don't know what you are referring to.  There is no requirement to enter one's personal email account password in TurboTax.    The program has no reason to need or ask for that.   Any reference to a password is asking about your TurboTax/Intuit account password.

It probably wants your Turbo Tax account password.   You can have 5 different accounts for 1 email address.

We are attempting to E File my own returns and you are holding this up due to my attempting to use my own 

personal credit card for this transaction never before in my history of using this product and it goes way back

your holding up my own return, WHY when you answer my emails to send to the first address I have had over

thirty years for some reason appears again.  Last years filing no problem why now?? PLEASE HELP US   I have been on my computer for hours attempting this!!

Are you using Online TurboTax or the desktop software (CD/download).

 

This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to TurboTax Support.   Sorry, but I don't  understand your issue in regard to a credit card and an email address.   You can either explain in more detail, and someone may suggest something, or you may wish to speak to the folks at TurboTax Support for realtime assistance by phone.

It never wants your personal email password.  It probably wants to log  you into your online Turbo Tax account. so you can update your email address.

The password being asked for is the TurboTax account password, not your email password.
