I keep getting a "Something's wrong..." error when I try to add information. I can't contact anyone because TurboTax doesn't let me. Been a customer for 7 years Need help

I've 'Clear & Start Over" three times. I've called twice and the prompt doesn't understand my email address (too long) I just need to talk to someone to figure out why I can't update my income detail. That's it! Super simple but the automation is making it difficult.

Hello,

I've called TurboTax however I'm not allowed to talk to anyone since I have not purchased a product. I go to try to purchase a product and I'm not allowed to. I've never experienced this level of difficulty before being a TurboTax user for 7 years.

I also got a hold of someone on Chat and they submitted a ticket for me and it was subsequently closed, however, I'm still having the same exact problem.

These are caused by a networking disconnect.

Check to make sure you have a good, strong internet connection. If you are using a vpn, you might need to temporarily disconnect it. Same with anti-virus software.

Hello Catina,

I've tried this on two separate computers, on two networks (both are stable), and even in incognito mode after clearing out my cash. I still get the same exact error at the same places. It doesn't error when adding my W2. It only errors currently when I update my freelance work or when I try to update my 1099-G.

Can you try this and see if this works and let me know?

1. Log out of TurboTax.

2. Update your WINDOWS software.

3. Reboot computer.

4. Log into TurboTax and if you are on a desktop version, check for updates.
