I just called to speak to someone. Someone picked up all I heard was kids crying and screaming. Then 2 minutes later a lady said she needed to make a call

I called I filed my taxes and the IRS has not received my information on my state tax.  It's for $593. I can not file any place.  Need to know where my refund is at? I had to send in for my federal since you never requested for my insurance.  Call me back at xxx-xxx-xxxx

The IRS only gets your federal tax return.  The IRS has nothing to do with your state income tax return.  Your state processes your state return.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2022 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
