If your Mac will not support the desktop software then you can ask customer support to do an "exchange" for the online software or at least credit the amount you already paid toward the online software. Online is not the same price as desktop software, so not sure how they will handle that.

Did you buy the Desktop Deluxe? It doesn’t work for online. You install it on your computer and do your return locally.
This is confusing--when you say "I have TurboTax Deluxe for 2018" do you mean you purchased the CD/download or do you mean you are planning to use the online software?
I purchased the program, but unfortunately, my older Mac will not support the program so I have to do my taxes on line

Here are some considerations when you choose which Online edition to use:
Online Deluxe is not the same as the desktop Deluxe. Online Deluxe has some form limitations that the desktop Deluxe does not have. Online Deluxe cannot prepare schedules D,E, F, or Schedule C with expenses. It cannot enter a K-1.
Online Premier cannot prepare a Schedule C with expenses, or Sched. F.
