I have TT 2018 Basic installed. I want to install 2018 Premier. Do I need to uninstall Basic first, or will Premier properly install on top of Basic? Thank you, Eric

Did you already buy Premier? You could have upgraded from inside the Basic program as answered below. Yes you will have to uninstall Basic to install another version. You can only have 1 version (per year) installed.

Yes, I already bought it. Fry's was having a deal, so I bought it. Thank you for the answer below.

You do not need to uninstall TurboTax Basic. You can upgrade from within the program, and the additional program feature will install. For Instructions on how to upgrade, see the following FAQ:

Thank you TTD, in my case I saw a deal on Premier and bought the disc. I have not attempted an install, as I already have Basic installed. Just wonder what steps I should take. Thinking I'll pop the disc in and see what happens.
