I have submitted my IP PIN several times. I even had the IRS mail my pin to me. However, Turbo Tax keeps telling me the IRS is rejecting my pin. What can I do next?

Did you enter the 6 digit IP PIN using this procedure?

Make sure you are not confusing the IP PIN (6 digits assigned by the IRS and mandatory) and the Self-Select Pin (5 digits, chosen by you, not required if you have prior year AGI).

Is my Self-Select PIN the same as my IP PIN?  No.

Can I reuse last year's IP PIN?  No.

How do I add or remove my 6-digit IP PIN?
