I got an email saying my 2019 State Return was rejected. I try to open Turbo Tax Deluxe and it requires an update but then gives an error message and won't open. Fix?

The error message says, "An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again later". Then it closes Turbo Tax and won't open it up. If I can't get in I can't see the error message on why my return was rejected.

If you have the CD/Download you can manually update the software.

Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software (Basic, Deluxe, Premier, Home & Business)

 

If you have TurboTax Online then you can update your web browser or Windows 10 software.

Another option is to call TurboTax support for assistance.
