I get the message that my Social Security and Medicare deduction on my W2 info is incorrect. I checked with my employer, who verified that the deductions are correct .

You need to go back and edit that W-2 form, and look carefully at the numbers in boxes 3 and 4....5 and 6.

Missed decimal points...double entered numbers could be there...and, transposed numbers are particularly hard to spot.  (54,231 vs 54,321).

Don't put in any commas yourself...let the software do it.

IF it still fails, delete the entire W-2 and reenter it carefully again from reading your paper copy.
