It's a bug.  They are working on it.

I’m having this problem now! I can’t figure out how to find how much it was supposed to be.

Greetings,

On my OH states refund it says $0 but not federal. When I downloaded the paperwork it gives me a figure.

Also, it says ready to mail. I am not sure if I am supposed to mail or what. Please help well appreciated.

In the FILE tab did you choose to mail in the return ?   If so in the PDF that prints out will be the mailing instructions.

To change to e-filing:

My federal refund says zero at top left corner but on the bottom of page it shows my full amount, is it a bug?

Yes it is a bug that doesn't effect the return.

I'm having the same issue now. Is this still a bug?

Review your PDF document. It will list the amount of your Federal refund on line 20 of your Form 1040. You can also track your refund and amount via the IRS Where's My Refund tool.

Where's my Refund

If you have re-entered your return, it is possible you are in Amend mode. Keep in mind that when you are amending, the refund tracker monitors the difference from your original filing to the amended return. It does not include any original refund or balance due.  Therefore, it resets to $0.

My federal refund says $0, I received my Return card but there isn't any money on it.  Is that a bug or do I need to call IRS?

Have you reviewed the PDF document on your return to determine a refund amount?

You may contact TurboTax Support if you need assistance.

Did you receive it? Same thing is happening with mine and the Where's My Refund website says the direct deposit date is April 1st but the TurboTax app dropbox menu says Federal Return 0

It is possible you re-entered the TurboTax software and it believes you are now amending your return.

Keep in mind that when you are amending, the refund tracker monitors the difference from your original filing to the amended return. It does not include any original refund or balance due. If you are claiming any previously unclaimed credits, you will see the difference as an additional refund amount.

Review the PDF from your return to confirm your refund amount. You may also use the IRS Where's my Refund tool to track the progress.
