I am not to sure why my Federal E-File keeps getting rejected. I don't know what I did wrong and I can't seem to figure it out

You will need to follow these steps to find out why your Return Rejected and how to correct it:

If you need further assistance fixing your return, please comment below with your reject code.

Based on what you’re saying, it sounds like someone else has used your dependent’s name and Social Security number on a return that’s already been e-filed, or perhaps that you’ve been claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return.  It’s hard to tell without knowing what your notification said.

That said, if you've verified that the SSN was correct as you entered it, and you e-file again, the IRS' e-File system will almost surely reject your return once more. Your only option would be to paper-file your return, sending it in to the IRS.

Please see the TurboTax Help article "E-file rejections related to incorrect or duplicated names, birth dates, or Social Security numbers" for additional information on why your return might be rejecting.
