I am an self-employed online tutor, I use Zoom to meet my students. Is that Zoom subscription tax-deductible? Under what category?

Yes, you can deduct the portion of the fees that you use for business purposes.   If you don't use Zoom for anything personal and only use it for your self-employment, you can deduct the full amount.   If you use it for both personal and business use, you have to split the cost and you can deduct the business portion.   And you can use any reasonable method to divide the cost.  You can put it with Communications expenses or Office expenses or even Miscellaneous expenses - any of those would be appropriate.

Where do I enter my self-employment business expenses, like vehicle mileage, phone service, and supplies?
