I accidentally upgraded to deluxe when prompted, but I meant to decline. How do I downgrade to the free version?

As long as you have not already submitted a payment or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, you can use the clear and start over feature to downgrade to the TurboTax Free Edition. Please see below for more information.

This dont fix the issue. I am still on the deluxe version even after clearing and starting over.

If you have already attempted to downgrade and were unsuccessful, this may be due to you having already submitted payment, deducting the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registering your account. If you have not done any of those, you can try clearing your cache and cookies. Please see the TurboTax FAQ here for instructions on clearing your cache. See here for instructions on clearing your cookies. You may also try using another browser or using the phone app here if the above does not work. If none of these resolve the issue, contact customer support here for further assistance.
